Car
If you are driving from Copán Ruinas, head southeast on CA-11. Continue on this road for approximately 3 km until you see the signs for Las Sepulturas. The entrance is on your right, where you can find parking available. Make sure to check the opening hours, as the site is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.
Public Transportation
From Copán Ruinas, you can catch a local bus heading towards La Entrada or Santa Rosa de Copán. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Las Sepulturas. This trip typically costs around 20 Lempiras and takes about 15-20 minutes. After getting off, follow the signs to the archaeological site. Be mindful of the opening hours, as Las Sepulturas is only open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Walking from Copán Ruinas
If you prefer to walk, start from the main square in Copán Ruinas and head southeast on CA-11. It’s a scenic walk of approximately 3 km that will take about 30-40 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially if it's hot. As you walk, enjoy the views of the surrounding area. Follow the road until you reach the entrance to Las Sepulturas on your right.
