From Tela, head west on CA-13 road. Continue straight for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of La Ceiba. Just before reaching La Ceiba, look for signs indicating the turnoff to Las Palmas (the entrance to Parque Nacional Punta Izopo). Follow the signs and turn onto the road leading to Las Palmas. Once in Las Palmas, follow local signs to the park entrance. There may be a small entrance fee for the park, so be prepared with cash.

From Tela, take a local bus heading toward La Ceiba. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to Las Palmas. Be sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Las Palmas.
