Car
From Bodrogköz, get on Route 37 heading southwest. Continue on Route 37 until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Merge onto Route 2 and continue towards Budapest. Once you enter Budapest, follow the signs for Buda Castle or 'Budai Vár' as it is also known. You will need to navigate through the city streets, following signs for 'District I'. Park at one of the public parking areas near Szent György tér. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, approximately 500 HUF per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Buda Castle from Bodrogköz using public transportation, first take a train from the nearest station in Bodrogköz to Budapest Nyugati Railway Station. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once at Nyugati Station, transfer to Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at Deák Ferenc tér and change to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at Széll Kálmán tér. From there, take bus number 16 or 16A, which will take you directly to Szent György tér, right at the foot of Buda Castle. Ensure you purchase a ticket before boarding, which costs around 350 HUF.
