    If you are already on Andrássy Avenue, look for the nearest landmark such as the House of Terror Museum (Terror Háza) at Andrássy út 60. From there, head southeast along Andrássy Avenue (Andrássy út) for about 800 meters. You'll pass by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the grand architecture lining the avenue. The Hungarian State Opera will be on your left at Andrássy út 22, just before reaching the intersection with Nagymező utca.

    If you're further away from the Opera House, you can take the metro. Locate the nearest metro station on Line 1 (the yellow line), which runs along Andrássy Avenue. For example, if you're near the Oktogon station, board the metro towards Mexikói út. Get off at the next stop, which is the Opera station.
