Walking
If you are on Andrassy Avenue, head toward the intersection with Bajza Street. Continue walking straight; you will pass by the stunning Opera House on your right. Keep walking for about 10 to 15 minutes until you reach the end of Andrassy Avenue, which leads directly into Heroes' Square (Hősök tere), where the Millennium Monument is located. The monument is impossible to miss as it towers in the center of the square.
Public Transportation - Metro
From Andrassy Avenue, locate the nearest metro station, which is typically the Oktogon or Opera station. Take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Mexikói út. Ride for three stops and get off at Hősök tere station. Once you exit the station, you’ll find yourself at Heroes' Square, and the Millennium Monument will be right in front of you.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Andrassy Avenue, find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 30 or 105. These buses run frequently and will take you directly to Heroes' Square. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. After getting off at the Heroes' Square stop, you will see the Millennium Monument ahead of you.
