Public Transport - Metro
If you are near the city center, find the nearest metro station that serves Line 2 (the red line). Board the train towards Déli Pályaudvar and get off at the Déli Pályaudvar station. From there, exit the station and follow the signs leading to the Buda Castle funicular. Take the funicular up to the top of the hill. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Szent György tér where Buda Castle is located.
Public Transport - Tram
Locate the nearest tram stop serving tram number 19 or 41. Board the tram heading towards the direction of Buda. Get off at the 'Clark Ádám tér' stop. From here, follow the path towards the funicular, which is just a short walk away. Take the funicular up to Buda Castle and walk towards Szent György tér.
