Public Transport
If you are in the city center, you can take the Metro Line M2 (Red Line) to 'Deák Ferenc tér' station. From there, transfer to Tram Line 19. Ride the tram until you reach 'Clark Ádám tér' stop. The Budapest Castle Hill Funicular is located right at the Clark Ádám tér, just a short walk from the tram stop.
Walking
If you are near the Danube River, you can walk to the Budapest Castle Hill Funicular. Head towards the Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd) and cross it. After crossing, keep walking straight until you reach the Clark Ádám tér. The funicular entrance is right there at the square.
Bus
You can take Bus 16 from 'Deák Ferenc tér' or 'Buda Castle' towards 'Fenyőgyöngye' and get off at the 'Clark Ádám tér' stop. The Budapest Castle Hill Funicular will be a short walk from the bus stop.
