Metro
If you're near the city center, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Mexikói út. Get off at the 'Széchenyi Fürdő' station. From the station, head east on Állatkerti körút for about 5 minutes. The Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden will be on your right at Állatkerti krt. 6-12.
Tram
You can also take Tram Line 4 or 6. Board the tram at any stop along the route heading towards 'Széll Kálmán tér'. Get off at the 'Közlekedési Múzeum' stop. From there, walk northwest on Kerepesi út for about 7 minutes until you reach Állatkerti krt. Turn right, and the Zoo will be ahead on your left.
Bus
If you're near the city center, you can take Bus Line 72 or 73. Board the bus heading towards 'Városliget'. Get off at the 'Széchenyi Fürdő' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes east along Állatkerti körút, and you will find the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden on your right at Állatkerti krt. 6-12.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the City Park (Városliget), simply walk towards the eastern edge of the park. Follow the path leading to the entrance of the Zoo at Állatkerti krt. 6-12. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
