Take the M1 (Yellow Line) from any station in Budapest towards 'Mexikói Út'. If you're near Deák Ferenc tér, board the train there. Get off at 'Széchenyi Fürdő' station. From the station, walk east on Állatkerti krt. for about 5 minutes until you reach City Park (Városliget). The entrance is near Kós Károly stny.
Bus
Find a bus stop for bus line 30, 30A, or 105. Board the bus heading towards 'Törökőr' or 'Káposztásmegyer'. Get off at 'Hősök tere' (Heroes' Square). From there, walk southeast into City Park (Városliget) for about 10 minutes, following the signs. The entrance to the park is on Kós Károly stny.
Tram
Locate a tram stop for tram line 1 (the yellow tram). Board the tram towards 'Közvágóhíd'. Get off at the 'Hősök tere' stop. From there, head southeast into City Park (Városliget), which is about a 10-minute walk. The park's entrance is on Kós Károly stny.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the city center, you can walk to City Park (Városliget). From St. Stephen's Basilica, head northeast along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, turn left onto Andrássy út, and walk straight until you reach the Heroes' Square (Hősök tere). Continue into the park, which is approximately a 30-minute walk.
