Metro
If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Mexikói út. Get off at the next stop, the Oktogon station. From Oktogon, head east on Oktogon towards Andrássy út, then turn right onto Andrássy út. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Dohány utca. Turn left onto Dohány utca, and you will find the Dohány Street Synagogue at number 2 on your left.
Tram
If you are near tram line 4 or 6, board the tram at any station along the route. Ride towards the direction of Széll Kálmán tér and get off at the Blaha Lujza tér stop. From there, walk down Rákóczi út until you reach Dohány utca. Turn left onto Dohány utca, and the Dohány Street Synagogue will be at number 2 on your right.
Bus
If you are near the bus stop for line 7, board the bus in the direction of Újpalota. Get off at the Blaha Lujza tér stop. From there, walk towards Rákóczi út, cross over to the other side, and continue straight until you reach Dohány utca. Turn left onto Dohány utca, and you will see the Dohány Street Synagogue at number 2.

If you are staying in the nearby area, you can easily walk to the Dohány Street Synagogue. Start at the nearest major landmark, such as the Astoria Hotel. Head north on Kossuth Lajos utca, then turn left onto Rákóczi út. Continue walking until you reach Dohány utca, turn right, and you will find the synagogue at number 2 on your right.
