Getting There

  • Metro

    Take Metro Line 2 (Red Line) from any station in Budapest. If you are starting from Deák Ferenc tér (a central metro hub), board the train towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the bus terminal.

  • Bus

    From Széll Kálmán tér, take Bus 11 (heading towards Kelenföld vasútállomás). Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the Mecset utca stop. After getting off, walk a short distance along Mecset utca, and you will find Gül Baba’s Tomb and Rosegarden at Mecset u. 14.

  • Walking

    If you're close to the Buda Castle area, you can walk to Gül Baba’s Tomb and Rosegarden. From the Buda Castle, head down to the direction of the Danube River. Cross the Széchenyi Chain Bridge and continue straight. Follow the road signs towards Gül Baba's Tomb, which is about a 20-minute walk from the castle.

  • Tram

    If you are near the Danube, take Tram 19 from the Batthyány tér station. Ride the tram for about 5 stops and get off at the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. From there, transfer to Bus 11 and follow the previous bus instructions to Mecset u. 14.
