Getting There

Metro
If you are near the city center, head to the nearest metro station, which could be Deák Ferenc tér (M1, M2, M3 lines). Take the M1 (yellow line) towards Mexikói út. Ride for 3 stops and get off at Hősök tere station. Upon exiting the station, walk straight ahead, and you will arrive directly at Heroes' Square.

Tram
Find a nearby tram stop. You can take tram number 1. If you are at the famous Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd), walk to the tram stop on the Buda side at Batthyány tér and take tram 1 towards Közvágóhíd. Stay on the tram for about 12 stops until you reach the Hősök tere stop. From there, walk a short distance to your left to reach Heroes' Square.

Locate a bus stop near your current location. Take bus number 20E or 30A. If you are near the Nyugati Railway Station, you can catch the bus from the stop nearby. After several stops, get off at Hősök tere. The square will be directly in front of you after you disembark.
