    If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér Metro Station, take Metro Line M2 (the red line) towards Örs vezér tere. Ride for one stop and get off at Astoria station. After exiting the station, walk east on Károlyi Mihály utca, then turn left onto Múzeum körút. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Hungarian National Museum located at Múzeum krt. 14-16.

    From the nearest tram stop, such as the Kálvin tér stop, take Tram 47 or 49 towards the city center. Get off at the Múzeum krt. stop. The museum is just a short walk from the tram stop; head west on Múzeum körút for about 3 minutes, and you will see the entrance to the Hungarian National Museum on your left.

  • Bus

    If you are at the Blaha Lujza tér bus station, take Bus 7 or Bus 173. Get off at the Múzeum krt. stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance down Múzeum körút towards the west for approximately 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Hungarian National Museum at Múzeum krt. 14-16.
