    If you are near any metro station in Budapest, take the M2 (Red Line) metro. Board the train in the direction of Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Kálvin tér' stop, which is about 3 stops from the starting point. Once you exit the metro, you will find yourself at Kálvin tér, a large square. From here, walk towards the main street (Kálvin tér) and head northeast. In about a 5-minute walk, you will reach Múzeum körút. The Hungarian National Museum will be on your right at Múzeum krt. 14-16.

    Locate a tram stop nearby, preferably one that services tram number 47 or 49. Board the tram heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Múzeum körút' stop. After getting off, walk a short distance towards the east along Múzeum körút, and you will arrive at the Hungarian National Museum, located at Múzeum krt. 14-16.

    If you're near a bus stop, look for buses that go to the 'Múzeum körút' area, such as bus number 9, 15, or 230. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop called 'Múzeum körút.' After getting off, walk a few minutes towards the east on Múzeum körút. The Hungarian National Museum will be on your right at Múzeum krt. 14-16.
