Train
Start at Nyugati Railway Station in Budapest. Purchase a ticket to Nagymaros-bernyó. Board the train heading towards Esztergom. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Nagymaros-bernyó station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road (Duna-part). Walk for about 15 minutes along the riverbank until you reach the footpath leading to Juliánus Kilátó.
Bus and Walk
From Deák Ferenc Square in Budapest, take Bus 960 towards Szob. The bus ride takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Get off at the Nagymaros, Hősök tere stop. From there, walk towards the Juliánus Kilátó trailhead, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill. Follow the signs along the footpath until you reach the viewing point.
Ferry
Start at the Batthyány tér ferry terminal in Budapest. Take the ferry to Nagymaros, which operates regularly during the summer months. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the Danube River and takes about 1 hour. After disembarking at Nagymaros, walk uphill towards Juliánus Kilátó, following the signs for approximately 20-30 minutes.
