Metro
If you are near a metro station, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Deák Ferenc tér' station. From there, transfer to Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at 'Kossuth Lajos tér' station. Exit the station and walk towards the Hungarian Parliament Building. From there, follow the signs to the Buda Castle area, where the National Széchényi Library is located. The library is situated on Szent György tér, which is a short walk from the castle entrance.

Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, find a nearby bus stop and take Bus 16 or Bus 16A. These buses run frequently and will take you directly to the Buda Castle area. Get off at the 'Szent György tér' stop. The National Széchényi Library is located at Szent György tér 4-5-6, just a short walk from the bus stop.

Tram
For those near a tram line, you can take Tram 19 or Tram 41. Both trams will take you to the Buda side of the river. Get off at the 'Budavári Palota' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Buda Castle and walk towards Szent György tér. The National Széchényi Library is located at Szent György tér 4-5-6.

If you are in the city center, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the National Széchényi Library. Head towards the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) and cross the Danube River. Once on the Buda side, continue walking up to the Buda Castle area. Follow the signs to Szent György tér, where the library is located at 4-5-6 Szent György tér.
