    Public Transport - Metro

    If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér metro station, take the M1 (Yellow Line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Change at the Opera station to the M2 (Red Line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér station. From there, take bus number 16 or 16A towards the Buda Castle. Get off at the Szent György tér stop, which is right next to the National Széchényi Library.

    Public Transport - Tram

    If you are close to the Danube River, find the tram stop for Tram Line 2. Take the tram in the direction of Jászai Mari tér. Get off at the Batthyány tér stop. From there, you can either walk up the hill to the Buda Castle area or take bus number 16 towards the Szent György tér stop, which is adjacent to the National Széchényi Library.
