Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near the city center, make your way to the Deák Ferenc tér metro station. From there, take Metro Line 3 (blue line) in the direction of Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at the Corvin-negyed station. Exit the station and walk to the Corvin Plaza tram stop. Take Tram Line 4 or 6 towards Kelenföld vasútállomás. After three stops, get off at the 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes towards Bajor Gizi park where the National Theatre is located.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the city center, head to the Astoria bus stop. Take Bus 9 towards Újpalota and get off at the 'Mester utca' stop. From there, transfer to Tram Line 2 heading towards Jászai Mari tér and get off at 'Rákóczi híd' stop. Walk approximately 5 minutes along the Danube River, and you will reach the National Theatre located at Bajor Gizi park 1.

    If you are close to the Danube River, you can walk along the riverbank towards the south. Starting from the Liberty Bridge (Szabadság híd), walk across the bridge and continue straight.
