Start your journey at any major metro station in Budapest. The most convenient option is to head to the 'Deák Ferenc tér' station, which is a central hub for the metro lines. From Deák Ferenc tér, take metro line M2 (the red line) towards 'Örs vezér tere'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Széll Kálmán tér'. Upon exiting the metro, follow the signs to the bus terminal located next to the square. From here, take bus number 29 towards 'Kurucles'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to get off at the 'Szépvölgyi út' stop. Once you disembark, walk back about 200 meters along Szépvölgyi út, and you will find Palvolgyi Cave located at Szépvölgyi út 162.

If you're already in the District II area or near Széll Kálmán tér, you can walk to Palvolgyi Cave. From Széll Kálmán tér, head north on Széll Kálmán tér towards Szépvölgyi út. Turn left onto Szépvölgyi út and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. The cave entrance is on the right side at Szépvölgyi út 162. The walk will take around 20-25 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Buda hills along the way.
