Public Transport
If you are in the city center, start by taking Metro Line 4 (the green line) from stations like Deák Ferenc tér or Kálvin tér heading towards Kelenföld vasútállomás. Get off at the Szent Gellért tér station. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs to the Gellért Hill. Walk towards the Danube River and turn left onto Szent Gellért Rkp. The Rock Chapel is located at Szent Gellért rkp. 1, which is a short walk along the riverbank.
Walking
From the Szent Gellért tér metro station, exit and walk towards the Danube River. Turn left onto Szent Gellért rkp. Follow the riverbank for about 500 meters. The Rock Chapel will be on your right at Szent Gellért rkp. 1. Be prepared for a slight incline as you approach the chapel, as it is situated on a hill.
Bus
You can also take bus number 27 from the city center. Board the bus at Széll Kálmán tér, which is accessible via Metro Line 2 (the red line). Ride the bus towards the Szent Gellért tér M station. After disembarking, walk towards the river and follow Szent Gellért rkp. to reach the Rock Chapel at Szent Gellért rkp. 1.
