Getting There

Walking
If you are near the Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station), exit the station and head southwest on Kerepesi út towards Baross tér. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Rákóczi út. Turn left onto Rákóczi út and walk until you reach the intersection with Blaha Lujza tér. From Blaha Lujza tér, take the tram line 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Rákóczi út / Blaha Lujza tér'. From there, walk west along Rákóczi út for about 10 minutes until you reach Dob utca. Turn right onto Dob utca and walk until you arrive at Dob u. 35, where the synagogue is located.

From Deák Ferenc tér (a major junction), take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the next stop, which is Astoria.
