Public Transport - Metro
If you are near a metro station, take the M3 (blue line) metro towards Újpest-Központ. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér station, which is the 3rd stop. From there, follow the signs to the exit for Váci utca. Once you exit the station, walk straight down Váci utca for about 10 minutes until you reach number 11, where the Thonet-ház is located.
Public Transport - Tram
You can take Tram 2, which runs along the Danube River. Board the tram at any stop along its route and ride it to the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. From there, walk towards the Parliament building, and then turn onto Váci utca. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach Váci u 11/A, where the Thonet-ház is situated.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the river or near the Great Market Hall, simply walk north along Váci utca. The Thonet-ház is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Great Market Hall. As you walk, you will pass by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the number 11 on the left side of the street.
Bus
You can take bus number 16 from various points in Budapest. Make sure to check the schedule on the BKK website. Get off at the Széchenyi István tér stop, which is near the Chain Bridge. From there, walk along the river towards Váci utca, and then turn left on Váci utca and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Váci u 11/A.
