    From Budapest, head to Nyugati Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar). You can take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) to Deák Ferenc tér and transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at Nyugati Pályaudvar. From there, purchase a ticket to Vác at the ticket counter or machine. Board a train heading to Vác, which typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Vác train station, exit the station, and walk towards the city center. It’s a short 15-minute walk to Március 15. tér 19, where the Tragor Ignác Museum is located.

  • Bus

    Take a bus from Budapest to Vác. Start at the Budapest Autóbusz Állomás (bus station) located at Népliget. You can take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) to Népliget station. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to Vác. The bus ride will generally take around 50 minutes to 1 hour. When you arrive at the Vác bus station, exit and walk toward the city center, which is about a 20-minute walk to Március 15. tér 19.

    If you're already in Váci street (Váci utca) in Budapest, take Tram Line 2 from the Váci utca stop towards Jászai Mari tér. Get off at the Jászai Mari tér stop and transfer to a train at the nearby Batthyány tér station, heading for Vác. After reaching Vác, exit the train and walk towards Március 15. tér, which is about a 15-minute walk away.
