You can take the M3 metro line (the blue line) to 'Deák Ferenc tér' and then transfer to the M2 metro line (the red line) towards 'Örs vezér tere' until you reach 'Nyugati Pályaudvar'. Once at Nyugati, purchase a ticket to Szentendre. Trains to Szentendre run frequently and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Szentendre station, exit the station and walk straight down the main road, following the signs to Templom tér, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

You can also take a bus from the city center. Head to the 'Kálvin tér' stop and catch the bus number 86 towards 'Szentendre'. The bus ride will take around 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Szentendre, disembark at the 'Templom tér' stop, which is right next to Saint John the Baptist's Parish Church.

For a scenic experience, consider taking a boat from Budapest to Szentendre. Head to the Vigadó tér dock, which can be reached by taking the M1 metro line to 'Vörösmarty tér' and walking a short distance to the river. Look for the boat service to Szentendre (operated by Mahart PassNave). The boat ride takes about 1 hour and provides beautiful views of the Danube River. Once you arrive at the Szentendre dock, walk towards the town center, which is approximately a 10-minute walk to Templom tér.
