Train
To reach Umbrella Street in Szentendre from Budapest, start by heading to the Nyugati Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar). You can get there easily by taking the M3 metro line to the stop 'Nyugati'. Once you arrive at Nyugati, purchase a ticket for the suburban train (HÉV) to Szentendre. Board the train on platform 3 that runs frequently, approximately every 20 minutes. The train ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Szentendre station, exit the station and follow the signs toward the town center. Walk straight for about 15 minutes along the main road until you reach Bercsényi Street, where Umbrella Street is located.
Bus
From Budapest, you can take a bus from the Árpád híd bus station. To get there, take the M3 metro line to 'Árpád híd' station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the bus terminal. Look for bus number 100E or another bus heading towards Szentendre. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Szentendre, disembark at the main square (Fő tér). From there, walk towards Bercsényi Street. It should take about 10 minutes on foot to reach Umbrella Street.
