    To reach the Underground Railway Museum, start by finding your nearest metro station in Budapest. Take the M1 (Yellow Line) metro line, which is the oldest metro line in mainland Europe. If you are starting from the Deák Ferenc tér station, board the M1 train in the direction of Vörösmarty tér. Alight at the 'Vörösmarty tér' station, which is just 2 stops away. Once you exit the station, you will find yourself at Vörösmarty Square.

    From Vörösmarty tér, walk towards the Erzsébet tér. Head southwest on Váci utca, one of Budapest's main shopping streets. Look for the museum's entrance on the ground floor of the building. It should take you approximately 5-7 minutes to walk there.
