Metro
To reach Váci utca, start by locating the nearest metro station. If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the Vörösmarty tér station. After exiting the station, walk towards the Danube river, and you will find Váci utca starting just a few minutes away.
Tram
If you are close to Andrassy Avenue, you can take Tram Line 4 or 6 from the Oktogon stop. Ride towards Széll Kálmán tér and get off at the Király utca stop. From there, walk straight down Király utca until you reach Váci utca, which is a short walk away.
Bus
Find a nearby bus stop and take Bus 5, 7, or 78, depending on your location. If you are at the Nyugati Railway Station, take Bus 5 towards Kálvin tér and get off at the Váci utca stop. Walk a short distance to reach the famous shopping street.
Walking
If you are already in the city center, Váci utca is easily accessible by foot. From the iconic Chain Bridge, walk towards the Pest side along the riverbank, and you will soon find Váci utca. It's a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the Danube and Buda Castle.
Bicycle
Budapest has bike rental services available. If you prefer cycling, rent a bike and head towards Váci utca. You can follow the bike lanes along the Danube river, which will lead you to the entrance of Váci utca. Be sure to park your bike at designated areas.
