Public Transport - Metro
If you are starting from Széll Kálmán tér, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar and get off at the next stop, which is the Kossuth Lajos tér. From there, transfer to Metro Line 3 (the blue line) and travel towards Újpest-Központ. Get off at the Arany János utca stop. Exit the station and walk towards the direction of the Hungarian Parliament Building. From there, follow the signs to the City Park (Városliget). The Vajdahunyad Castle is located within the park. It will take approximately 30 minutes in total.

From Deák Ferenc tér, take Tram 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Hősök tere (Heroes' Square) stop. From there, walk straight into the City Park (Városliget). You will see the Vajdahunyad Castle as you enter the park. The entire journey should take about 25 minutes.
