Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from Deák Ferenc Square (a central hub in Budapest), take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the next stop, which is Vörösmarty tér. Exit the station and walk towards the bus stop for Bus 16. Take Bus 16 towards Fenyőgyalú. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Vérmező' stop. From there, you can walk a short distance to reach the park.

  • Walking

    If you're close to Buda Castle, you can walk to Vérmező. Exit the castle grounds and head down towards the river. Cross the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) to reach Pest. Once you are on the Pest side, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Alagút utca. Turn left and walk uphill until you reach Vérmező park. This walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes.

  • Tram

    From the famous Széchenyi Chain Bridge, walk to the nearest tram station at Clark Ádám tér. Take Tram 19 towards Kelenföld, and after about 5 stops, get off at 'Margit híd, budai hídfő' station. From there, change to Bus 16 towards Fenyőgyalú and get off at the 'Vérmező' stop. The total travel time should be around 25-30 minutes.
