Walking
If you are in the heart of the Castle District, head southeast towards the main road, Szentháromság utca. Continue along this road until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the first exit onto Kossuth Lajos tér and walk straight. After a few minutes, you'll see the iconic Fisherman's Bastion on your left. Continue walking past the Bastion and keep heading downhill towards the Danube River. As you approach the edge of the hill, you will spot Vajdahunyad Street on your right. Turn onto Vajdahunyad Street and follow it until you reach Gatehouse Tower, which should be on your left. The entire walk should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
