Walking
If you are already in Gellert Hill, start at the Gellért Baths, located at Kelenhegyi út 4. Walk north towards Gellért Hill Park. Once inside the park, look for the well-marked paths leading up the hill. Continue following the paths until you reach a viewpoint area overlooking the Danube River. From this viewpoint, look for a staircase that leads downwards towards Bérc utca. Descend the staircase, and at the bottom, turn right onto Bérc utca. Continue walking along Bérc utca for about 5 minutes until you reach Antal lépcső, located at Bérc u. 13-15.
Public Transport - Tram
From the Gellért Baths, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Gellért tér'. Take tram line 47 or 49 towards 'Deák Ferenc tér'. After 2 stops, get off at 'Fővám tér' and transfer to tram line 2. Board tram line 2 towards 'Jászai Mari tér'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Kossuth Lajos tér'. From here, walk towards the Hungarian Parliament building, then take a left onto Bérc utca. Walk along Bérc utca for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Antal lépcső at Bérc u. 13-15.
Walking from Citadella
If you are visiting the Citadella (Liberty Statue) on top of Gellert Hill, walk down the hill towards the Gellért Baths. As you descend, look for the signs directing towards Bérc utca. Once you reach the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Bérc utca. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Antal lépcső at Bérc u. 13-15. This route offers beautiful views of the city as you make your way down.
