From the Jewish Quarter, start at the famous Dohány Street Synagogue located at Dohány utca 2. Head southeast on Dohány utca towards Astoria. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach Astoria metro station. From here, you can either take public transport or continue walking. If you prefer walking, continue along Rákóczi út until you reach Kálvin tér, then turn left onto Múzeum körút. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Szabadság tér. The Soviet War Memorial is located at Szabadság tér 14, just a short walk from here.

From the Jewish Quarter, walk to the nearby Astoria metro station (about 600 meters from the Dohány Street Synagogue). Take Metro Line M2 (Red Line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the second stop, which is Deák Ferenc tér. At Deák Ferenc tér, transfer to Metro Line M3 (Blue Line) and take it towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at the next stop, which is Arany János utca. From the station, exit and walk west on Arany János utca for about 300 meters until you reach Szabadság tér. The Soviet War Memorial will be located at Szabadság tér 14.
