Public Transport - Metro
If you are near Deák Ferenc tér, take the M2 (Red Line) metro towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the next stop, which is Kossuth Lajos tér. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs for the exit towards 'Kossuth Lajos tér.' Once you are above ground, you will see the Hungarian Parliament Building directly in front of you. From there, walk straight down Kossuth Lajos tér, and you will find Liberty Square (Szabadság tér) just a short walk ahead on your left.
Public Transport - Tram
If you are near the tram line, take tram number 2. Board the tram at any stop along the route heading towards Jászai Mari tér. Get off at the stop called Kossuth Lajos tér. After exiting, you will see the Parliament Building in front of you. Walk straight down Kossuth Lajos tér, and in a few minutes, you will reach Liberty Square (Szabadság tér) on your left.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Basilica (Szent István Bazilika), head south on Szent István tér, then turn left onto Zoltán utca. Continue straight until you reach Kossuth Lajos tér, where you will see the Parliament Building. From there, walk along Kossuth Lajos tér, and after a few minutes, Liberty Square (Szabadság tér) will be on your left.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are near Nyugati Railway Station, you can take bus number 79 or 86. Board the bus and get off at the stop named Kossuth Lajos tér. Once you are off the bus, you will see the Parliament Building in front of you. Walk straight ahead along Kossuth Lajos tér, and you will reach Liberty Square (Szabadság tér) just a short distance away on the left.
