Car
If you are driving from Csallóköz to Buda Castle, begin by getting on the M1 or M7 motorway towards Budapest. Follow the signs for Budapest and then take the exit towards the city center. Once you are near the city center, follow signs for Buda Castle. You will need to park your car in a nearby parking facility, as close access to the castle is limited. Expect parking fees, which can range from 400 HUF to 600 HUF per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Buda Castle by public transportation, take a local bus or train from your location in Csallóköz to Budapest. The most convenient route is to take a train to Nyugati Railway Station in Budapest. From there, transfer to metro line M3 (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest and get off at Deák Ferenc tér. Change to metro line M2 (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the last stop and take tram number 19 or 41 towards Dísz tér. Alight at Dísz tér, which is a short walk to Buda Castle. A single ticket for public transportation costs around 350 HUF.

Starting from any location in Csallóköz, take a bus to the nearest train station that connects to Budapest. After arriving at Budapest, follow the public transportation instructions as mentioned. Once you reach Dísz tér, walk approximately 10 minutes uphill to reach the entrance of Buda Castle. The route is scenic and provides beautiful views of the city.
