If you're starting from the city center, head to the closest tram station, which is 'Kossuth tér'. Board tram line 1 in the direction of 'Nagyerdei körút'. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Nagyerdei körút' stop. From there, walk straight down Nagyerdei krt. for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of Great Forest Park.

If you prefer buses, find the nearest bus stop in the city center, such as 'Kossuth Lajos utca'. Take bus number 30 or 31 towards 'Nagyerdei Park'. The ride takes around 20 minutes. Alight at the stop named 'Nagyerdei Park'. After getting off, it’s a short walk of about 3 minutes straight to the main entrance of Great Forest Park.

If you are already near the city center, you can also walk to Great Forest Park. Head east on Piac utca, then turn left onto Nagyerdei krt. Continue on this road for about 20-30 minutes. You’ll pass some local shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the park, you’ll find multiple entrances.
