Car
If you are driving, head southwest towards the city center from your location in Duna-Ipoly National Park. You will want to take Route 11 towards Budapest. Continue on Route 11, which will merge into the M0 motorway. Follow the signs for M3 towards Budapest. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards M3, then follow signs for the city center. Once you are in the city, make your way to District XIV. Look for Rákospatak utca and turn onto it. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Széher út, where you will see the George Washington Statue at the park entrance. There is parking available nearby.

Public Transport
To reach the George Washington Statue using public transport, start by taking a bus or train from your location in Duna-Ipoly National Park to the nearest metro station. You may need to change lines depending on your starting point. Once you are on the metro, take Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Mexikói út and get off at the 'Hősök tere' (Heroes' Square) station. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) towards the statue or take tram number 1 in the direction of Közvágóhíd and get off at the 'Hunyadi János út' stop, which is a short walk away from the statue.
