If you are starting from Eger Castle, head down from the castle grounds towards the main road, Dózsa György út. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn left onto Kossuth Lajos utca, which will lead you directly to Dobó István Square. The square will be on your right-hand side.

From Eger's main bus station (Eger autóbusz-állomás), exit the station and head south towards the main road. Follow the signs towards the city center, walking straight along Széchenyi István utca until you reach Dobó István Square. This walk should take around 15-20 minutes.
