Getting There
Walking
From the center of Keszthely, head north on Kossuth Lajos utca until you reach the main square, Kossuth Lajos tér. Continue straight onto Szent István utca. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Balaton utca. Turn right onto Balaton utca and continue walking towards the waterfront. When you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade, enjoying the views of Lake Balaton. After about 15 minutes, you will reach a bus stop for Gyenesdiás. Take the bus towards Gyenesdiás, which should take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Gyenesdiás stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the direction of the Gyenesdiás village center, and follow the signs for Big Meadow (Nagymezo) which is located in the park area. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Keszthely. Start from the center of Keszthely and ride north on Kossuth Lajos utca. After about 1 km, you will reach a bike path along the waterfront. Follow this path west towards Gyenesdiás. The ride should take approximately 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive in Gyenesdiás, follow the signs to Big Meadow (Nagymezo), which is located in a nearby park area.
Public Transport
From Keszthely's main bus station, take a bus to Gyenesdiás. Buses run frequently and the ride is approximately 10-15 minutes. When you arrive at Gyenesdiás, disembark at the main stop. From there, it’s a short walk towards the park area where Big Meadow (Nagymezo) is located. Look for local signage that directs you to the park.
