Váli Pincészet traces its roots to 2000 when Péter Váli, a lifelong gastronome, fulfilled his dream of creating a wine estate in Badacsonyörs. From a modest beginning, the family expanded to nearly 10 hectares of organically farmed vineyards across prime sites like Tóti-hegy and Badacsony mountain. Péter's passion for hospitality infuses every aspect, blending winemaking with genuine guest care. Today, the estate stands as Hungary's Most Beautiful Small Estate, a testament to 25 years of dedication.

Vineyards and Winemaking

The winery specializes in indigenous varieties thriving in Balaton's unique microclimate: Budai Zöld, Olaszrizling, Ottonel Muskotály, Kéknyelű, Szürkebarát, and Pinot Noir. Organic practices include low yields of 1-1.5 kg per vine, hand-harvesting into crates, and precise timing for ripeness. Wines reflect the volcanic soils' minerality—salty, smoky notes with vibrant acidity. Techniques span reductive fermentation, oak barrel aging, and skin-contact for standout bottles like Luca (Budai Zöld-Ottonel blend) and age-worthy Kéknyelű.
