Follow the signs for Külső-tó, which is located near the Tihany Peninsula. Parking is available near the entrance to the nature reserve, but ensure to check for any applicable parking fees.

To reach Külső-tó via public transport, take a train to Balatonfüred. From Balatonfüred, you can catch a bus to Tihany. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Tihany, you will need to walk to Külső-tó. Follow the signs towards the nature reserve, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus and train schedules ahead of time, as they may vary.
