The Kilátó is a short hike from the parking area, approximately 1 kilometer uphill along a well-marked trail.

For those using public transportation, take a bus to Gyöngyös from major cities like Budapest or Eger. Once in Gyöngyös, you can catch a local bus to Mátrafüred. Buses run regularly, but check the schedule in advance as they may vary. From the bus stop in Mátrafüred, follow the signs to Kilátó; it’s about a 30-minute walk (or 2 kilometers) along a scenic trail leading to the lookout tower.
