Walking
Start at the Miskolc city center, specifically at the Miskolc Town Hall (Miskolc Városháza). From the Town Hall, head east on Széchenyi Street toward the main square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Miskolc’s main street, where you will see a large shopping center on your right. Turn left onto the main street (Kossuth Lajos utca) and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the Miskolc Zoo. After passing the zoo, continue walking straight for another 500 meters until you reach the edge of the forested area. Look for signs leading to Rákóczi-kilátó, which is a hiking trail that starts here. Follow the trail for approximately 1 km until you reach Rákóczi-kilátó alapkő, which is marked with a stone monument.

Begin at the Miskolc city center. Take bus number 12 from the main bus station (Miskolc autóbusz-állomás) towards the Miskolc Zoo. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Miskolci Állatkert' (Miskolc Zoo). From there, follow the same path as described in the walking guidance. Head east from the zoo entrance toward the forest area, look for hiking trail signs leading to Rákóczi-kilátó. The hike will take about 20 minutes to reach the alapkő.
