From the center of Nyíregyháza, head to the main bus station located at Móricz Zsigmond utca. Look for Bus 6 or Bus 7, which both head towards Sóstógyógyfürdő. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Alight at the Sóstógyógyfürdő stop, which is the closest stop to the zoo. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk along Sóstói út to reach Nyíregyháza Animal Park, Sóstó Zoo.

If you are already in the Sóstógyógyfürdő area, navigate to Sóstói út. Depending on your exact location, walk towards the Sóstógyógyfürdő bus stop. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs pointing to the zoo. Continue straight on Sóstói út, and after about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Nyíregyháza Animal Park, Sóstó Zoo on your right.

For those who enjoy cycling, consider renting a bike from one of the rental shops in the city center. Head towards Sóstógyógyfürdő via Sóstói út, which is approximately a 5 km ride.
