Car
If you are travelling by car from the center of Nyírség, head south on Route 4. Continue on Route 4 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Budapest. Follow the signs for the city center (Belváros). Once in Budapest, take the exit toward Buda (Budaörs) and merge onto the M1 highway. Stay on M1 and follow signs to the Danube River. Exit onto Bem rakpart, where you will find the scenic riverfront area.
Public Transportation
To reach Bem rakpart via public transportation, first take a train from Nyíregyháza railway station to Budapest Keleti station. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once at Keleti station, transfer to the M2 metro line (red line) and travel towards Déli Pályaudvar station. Get off at the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. From there, walk towards the Danube River, and follow the waterfront to Bem rakpart. It’s about a 15-minute walk along the riverbank.
