Walking
From the center of Pécs, start at Széchenyi square. Head southeast towards Kossuth Lajos street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Hunyadi János street. Turn left onto Hunyadi János street. Continue walking on Hunyadi János street for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find Mecsek-kapu at number 87 on the left side of the street. The landmark is easily identifiable and is located near a small park area.
Public Transport - Bus
From the central bus station (Pécs Autóbusz-állomás), take bus number 34 towards 'Mecsekfalu'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Hunyadi János u.' stop. From the bus stop, walk back towards the direction of the bus for about 200 meters. Mecsek-kapu will be located at number 87 on Hunyadi János street, which will be on your right side.
Public Transport - Tram
If you are near the tram stop at Szent István tér, take tram line 1 towards 'Kertváros'. Ride the tram for three stops and get off at 'Munkácsy Mihály utca'. From there, walk along Munkácsy Mihály street until you reach Hunyadi János street. Turn right onto Hunyadi János street and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will find Mecsek-kapu at number 87 on your left.
