The Tranquil Memorial Park of Báró Eötvös Loránd

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Pilisszentkereszt, 2099. From the center of Pilis Mountains, follow the signs towards Pilisszentkereszt. Once you enter the village, look for the main road (Kossuth Lajos utca) and proceed until you reach the intersection with Fő utca. Turn left onto Fő utca, and after approximately 500 meters, you will see a sign for Báró Eötvös Loránd-emlékhely on your right. There is ample parking available near the memorial park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest major station, which is in the town of Budaörs or Esztergom, depending on where you are starting from in the Pilis Mountains. From there, you can catch a local bus (Bus 860 or Bus 870) towards Pilisszentkereszt. Alight at the 'Pilisszentkereszt' bus stop. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer (about 15-20 minutes) towards the memorial park. Head south on Kossuth Lajos utca, then left onto Fő utca, and follow the signs for Báró Eötvös Loránd-emlékhely.

• Walking

  If you are already nearby, you can reach Báró Eötvös Loránd-emlékhely by walking. From the center of Pilisszentkereszt, head south on Kossuth Lajos utca. After about 700 meters, take a left onto Fő utca. Continue straight for another 300 meters until you see the memorial park on your right. The walk should take you approximately 15-20 minutes.
