Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Esztergom. Take Route 11 heading towards Pilisvörösvár. Continue on Route 11 for approximately 15 kilometers, and then turn onto Route 10 towards Pilisszentkereszt. Follow this road for about 8 kilometers. Once you reach Pilisszentkereszt, look for signs leading to Pilisi Madonna, which is located near the village center.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train from Budapest to Esztergom. From Esztergom train station, transfer to a local bus (line 10) heading towards Pilisszentkereszt. This bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pilisszentkereszt, follow the local signs or ask locals for directions to Pilisi Madonna, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are already in Pilisszentkereszt, you can easily walk to Pilisi Madonna. From the village center, head north on the main road (Fő utca) for about 500 meters. Look for a small path that leads up into the hills. Follow this path for another 300 meters, and you will arrive at the Pilisi Madonna. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
