Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Dömös. From Budapest, take the M1 highway towards Esztergom. After about 30 km, take the exit toward Dömös and follow the signs to the town center. Once in Dömös, navigate to Unnamed Road, which leads to Rám Hegy Kapu. There is limited parking available near the trailhead, so be mindful of local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Rám Hegy Kapu using public transportation, take a train from Budapest to Esztergom. Trains depart regularly from Nyugati Railway Station. Once you arrive at Esztergom, take bus number 10 towards Dömös. The bus will take you to the center of Dömös. From the bus stop, walk towards Unnamed Road, where you will find the trail leading to Rám Hegy Kapu. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Dömös and prefer to walk, you can hike to Rám Hegy Kapu. Starting from the center of Dömös, follow local signs pointing towards the hiking trails. The walk is approximately 3 km and offers beautiful views of the surrounding Pilis Mountains. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be steep and rugged in sections.
