Car
From the center of Pilis Mountains, head towards the M1 motorway. Take the M1 in the direction of Budapest. Continue on the M1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the M7 motorway. Merge onto the M7 and follow signs for Budapest. After about 15 kilometers, take exit 18 for Budaörsi út. Continue straight onto Budaörsi út and follow the signs for the city center (Belváros). As you approach the city, keep right at the fork to stay on Budaörsi út, which will turn into Hősök tere. Follow Hősök tere until you reach Andrássy út. Turn left onto Andrássy út, and then take a right onto Dob utca. The synagogue will be located at Dob u. 35 on your right.
Public Transportation
From any location in the Pilis Mountains, take a bus to the nearest train station, such as the train station in Pilisvörösvár or Esztergom. From there, board a train heading to Budapest. If you are on the Esztergom line, you will likely take the train to Nyugati pályaudvar station in Budapest. Once you arrive at Nyugati station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop for tram number 4 or 6. Board tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér and get off at the Király utca/Dob utca stop. From there, walk straight down Dob utca, and the synagogue will be on your left at Dob u. 35.
