From the center of Salgotarjan, head east on Rákóczi Ferenc út towards Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main bus station (Buszpályaudvar). From there, take Bus number 1 towards Eger. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Eger, disembark at the last stop. Walk towards the center of Eger, following the signs to the Cathedral Basilica located at Pyrker János tér 1. It should take about 10 minutes to walk to the basilica from the bus station.

Take the local bus from the Salgotarjan bus station (Buszpályaudvar) to Eger. Make sure to check the schedule for Bus number 1. The bus ride typically lasts around 30-40 minutes.
