Getting There

If you are starting from the Eger Castle, exit the castle grounds and head southeast on Török Ignác utca. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Széchenyi utca. Turn right onto Széchenyi utca and follow it until you see the large square (Dobo István tér) in front of the Eger Basilica. The Bazilika lépcsősor is located right next to the Basilica, so simply walk towards the Basilica's entrance, and you will find the staircase leading up to the main entrance.
