Walking
If you are starting from the Eger Castle, exit the castle grounds and head southeast on Török Ignác utca. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Széchenyi utca. Turn right onto Széchenyi utca and follow it until you see the large square (Dobo István tér) in front of the Eger Basilica. The Bazilika lépcsősor is located right next to the Basilica, so simply walk towards the Basilica's entrance, and you will find the staircase leading up to the main entrance.

If you are near the Eger Minaret, head southeast towards Kossuth Lajos utca and then turn left. Walk straight until you reach Dobo István tér. From there, you will see the Eger Basilica in the distance. Make your way towards it, and you will find the Bazilika lépcsősor on the steps leading up to the Basilica.

Starting from the Eger Thermal Bath, exit the bath area and head southwest on Szent János utca. Continue until you reach the intersection with Kossuth Lajos utca, then turn right. Walk straight until you arrive at Dobo István tér. From there, proceed towards the Basilica, and the Bazilika lépcsősor will be right next to it.
Public Transport
If you are coming from the Eger train station, you can take bus number 12 or 14 towards the city center. Get off at the Dobo István tér stop. From there, walk towards the Eger Basilica, which is easily visible. The Bazilika lépcsősor is located at the entrance of the Basilica.
