Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town in Somogy, such as Kaposvár. Head south on Route 67 towards Barcs. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Vállus. Follow the signs for Vállus, and once you reach the village, look for signs directing you towards Padkűi Kilátó (Pad-kövi kilátó felé). The parking area is nearby, and from there it’s a short walk to the lookout point.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Kaposvár to Vállus. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Vállus, you may need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Padkűi Kilátó. Follow the local road signs leading to the lookout point. Be sure to check the local bus schedules ahead of your trip for any changes.
Walking
For those who prefer walking, after parking your car in Vállus, follow the designated walking trails that lead to Padkűi Kilátó. The paths are clearly marked and provide a scenic route through the countryside. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
